Group risk plans provide important protection to businesses and valuable benefits to employees. We offer group life, critical illness and income protection to you and your employees.

Group life assurance is designed to provide much needed reassurance at a difficult time. By providing a lump sum and/or pension to an employee's family and dependants, an employer can help support them through what is inevitably an emotionally stressful time. Bereavement counselling, a probate helpline and BusinessCare can be included.

Group critical illness provides a tax-free lump sum payment if an employee is diagnosed with a condition covered by the policy and survives a set period of time. The diagnosis of a serious illness, such as cancer or heart disease, is a devastating event for thousands of people every year. Canada Life can provide both financial and emotional support in the event of a life-changing illness.

Group income protection provides a proportion of salary for an employee off work due to illness or injury. Canada Life works in partnership with our customers. As well as the financial support, they provide employers with access to market-leading rehabilitation services from the earliest stages of absence to help employees return to work.

Our partner Canada Life has over 40 years' experience in the UK group risk market, covers over 2.7 million lives (as at September 2015), pays out 99.8% of all group life assurance claims and is the largest provider of group life assurance in the UK.
